Panning
In photography, Panning is the horizontal movement of the camera, usually following the subject. The effect achieved will suggest motion of the subject. The subject remains in sharp focus while the background is blurred and streaked.
Panning effect is achieved by keeping the subject in the same position in the frame for the duration of the exposure. The shutter speed has to be longer than what is necessary for those shooting conditions. The camera has to follow the subject for the duration of the exposure.
